Weekly Photo Challenge: Peaceful

I was outside today pulling wild onion out of my flower bed when I noticed my daffodils were coming up.  Now I know this does not mean Spring is around the corner because those silly flowers will still bloom if there is snow on the ground, but I do love the promise they bring with them.  Plus the buds always put me at peace.

And while my friends and family out west are drowning in snow and ice, I can sit on my porch and enjoy some tea and music.

I do not envy them the cold damp snow, I paid my dues learning to drive in it.
